The Parma Heights Food Pantry is relied on by over 200 families per month for more than food. This year the food pantry will be providing new presents to clients with young children. They will also be supplying mittens, gloves, hats, scarfs and socks.
PCSD Administrative office:
There are many Parma Area Morning Kiwanis members that work at the Parma City School District administrative offices. For the last two years they put up a mitten tree which was contributed to by Kiwanis members and many of their PCSD co-workers. The outerwear collected last November and December was distributed to cold children at the Parma Heights Food Pantry throughout the holiday season and well into January. Our contributions in 2009 will help the pantry to provide these much needed items well into 2010. What a great holiday success story.
